NMEA 2000 & NMEA OneNet

NMEA 2000 is an industry-standard protocol that enables various marine devices to communicate over a single network, using a CAN bus system. NMEA OneNet is a newer, Ethernet-based standard offering data transmission speeds up to 10 Gbit/s, ideal for high-bandwidth applications like radar and video. We offer products supporting both standards

  • Receptacles: Available with PG9, M12, or M16 thread options for panel mounting. NMEA 2000 receptacles have 5 pins, while NMEA OneNet have 8 pins.
  • Adapters & Terminators: We supply a variety of adapters, including Tee, Elbow, and More-Way options to consolidate drop cables. Terminators are also available.
  • Field-Installable Connectors: For on-site installations, we offer NMEA 2000 screw-in connectors and an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connection) version for NMEA OneNet, which allows for quick, reliable terminations without stripping wire insulation.
  • Cabling Solutions: We can supply both standard and custom cabling, including thin and mid cable assemblies, double-ended cordsets, and Tee cables.
