Conical Cage Cable Glands

Conical Gauge Cable Glands, also known as Captive cone or cone type glands, offer a friction based clamping mechanism that distributes force over a wide area of the cable sheath. This helps prevent cold flow deformation, accommodating changes to a cables diameter and thus maintains the longevity of the IP rating. These are widely used to connect steel wire armoured cables to industrial equipment. They are fully compliant to work with liquid cooled high power EV cables and can be used in industrial automation applications within harsh environments such as mining, oil and gas.
