Capacitive Proximity Sensor

Designed to offer an efficient way of detecting the presence or absence of nearby objects without the need for physical contact.

With the ability to detect granulated, liquid, solid and powdered materials from behind a plastic or glass partition, these sensors can be used for fluid level, proximity, humidity and position sensing applications.

NPN output or sinking output switches to 0V when target is detected, PNP output or sourcing output switches to supply voltage when target is detected.

A rugged design with IP67 sealing, it offers reverse polarity, short circuit and overload protection. It comes equipped with LED status indication and a potentiometer within the sensor to enable sensing distance adjustability.
  • Nickel plated Brass, Stainless Steel or ABS housing materials
  • Available in M8 through to M30 threaded housings
