Venting and auto burst plugs
Battery ventilation components made with Glass Fiber reinforced Nylon (PA66) and a stainless steel inner. Designed to prevent a dangerous build up of gasses within the battery reducing the risk of explosion, fire and damage. Offering continuous ventilation and a burst safety function, the vents perform excellently under vibration and are able to resist the ingress of water, dust and other contaminants. They are suitable for high pressure cleaning and applications where frequent washing is necessary.These products meet protection classes IP66, IP67, IP68 and IP69K, while optimising the lifetime of Li-ion batteries and providing safety in case of an explosion, suitable for use in applications such as electric vehicles, electric trains and stationary batteries for energy storage.

- All versions (ARVSD, VSD-AR, and ARSD) feature an emergency burst function, opening automatically when internal pressure increases and closing when pressure drops, ensuring safe and controlled operation
- ARVSD and VSD-AR provide a burst function along with ventilation, while ARSD provides only a burst function
