Hello and welcome! I’m Michael Groom, Managing Director of Lucid Electronics. Throughout my 30+ years working in the electronic components and IT sectors, I have encountered manufacturers with fantastic products, commercial appeal, expertise and support – all important attributes in the recipe for success. However, invariably, these manufacturers lacked the resource and knowledge required to enter what was for them a new market. This is why Lucid was established; to help these companies and to fill what I perceive to be a gap in the market.
All markets are different, Europe more so than most. All countries have their own language, cultural traits and ways of doing business. For many overseas manufacturers without a presence in Europe, the prospect can be a daunting – this is where we can help. We work with the manufacturer, as an extension of their sales team, to market and create demand for their products and services. We are not a distributor – we leave the box shifting to the experts. We are a sales company, a company that provides good, honest advice and support to our customers and business partners
